Le driver c'est ce que tu installes dans windows pour qu'elle soit reconnue par tes programmes ( msn, skype, etc. )
Le firmware c'est le programme interne de la caméra qui pilote la partie matérielle. 
Sinon je parlais de ce truc la sur le site d'asus.

Sinon il faudrait, si tu en as a la possibilité, que tu essais de brancher ta webcam sur un autre PC.
Peut etre qu'il s'agit d'une incompatibilité avec ton vista ?
