Je lis ce topic depuis le début mais étant complétement noob en OC AMD je suis un peu perdu.
J'ai fait l'acquisition d'un R7 5800X et d'une MSI B550 Tomahawk, refroidis avec un AIO bequiet pureloop en 240.
Le processeur chauffe beaucoup je trouve avec parfois des pointes inexpliquées en idle. ex: il est à 30°C et monte à 50 voir plus parfois
(j'ai peu de chose qui tournent en fond mis a part MSI afterburner pour la courbe de ventilation de la CG et logitech G hub pour clavier/souris)
En Stress test ( OCCT / cinebench R23 ...) je l'ai vu atteindre 85°C et même 90°C plus rarement, néanmoins sans aucune erreur.
En jeu même si ça dépend il peu monter jusqu'a 87°C (exemple avec outward)
Mon souhait serait d'obtenir des températures plus basses et du coup une config plus silencieuse.
Sans forcément gagner en performance (j'obtiens de base sous cinebench R23: 15316 en Multi et 1604 en mono).
Auriez vous des conseils s'il vous plait ?

J'ai le même couple CPU/CM que toi. Tes réglages m'intéresseront également.
Pour le moment je suis obligé de limiter mon 5800X à 4,6Ghz/1.23V sinon, en stock il crashe systématiquement dans les jeux gourmands en CPU (PUBG, Hitman). Alors je fais aussi joujou avec PBO, j'obtiens de jolis scores et températures moi aussi sous Cinebench R23/OCCT mais ça ne vaut rien si le CPU crashe sans raison en pleine partie.
Apparemment, d'autres sont touchés et j'ai l'impression que certaines CM ne sont pas à la page des Ryzen 5000 : https://community.amd.com/t5/proces [...] d-p/424258

THE SOLUTION:
Go into BIOS. Disable CBP, save, reboot. Go back into BIOS.
Set the performance enhancer to level 3.
Then go to the PBO settings and
set PBO to enabled
set Fmax enhancer to enabled.
Open the advanced tab and open AMD overclocking.
Select PBO here
set PBO to advanced and the limit to motherboard.
(The main thing) EDC - Set Spike VRM-out current limit to 200A. (later we can back this down, probably AGESA 1.2)
(Just in case) PPT - Set the socket power limit to 130W. (depends on mobo)
(Just in case) TDC - Set the vrm thermal limit to 85. (depends on mobo and proc)
EDC is a temporary massive increase, PPT here a decrease. TDC depends on your cooling of VRMS and such.
Leave at zeros all the rest in that menu
Set Idle Voltage to Typical
Set Global C-states control to Disable
MAKE SURE THAT ECO MODE IS OFF.
NOW you can reboot, go into BIOS and set Core Precision Boost back to On, everything should work.
